Can anyone help me find the U.S. Land Record tract books that use to be available?

A number of years ago I was able to view the original Tract books for Ohio Lands. Is there a way for me to look at them again? I am interested in Steubenville Land office tract books.

Thank you,

Marty Richie

    Thank you, Thank you.....

I tried and tried to find this collection. I knew it was available several years ago when I had used it a lot. But I could not find it under the " Search options" . I will bookmark the two locations. I do a lot of entry man research and knowing when a tract is applied for and /or purchased may be years before a Patent deed is produced by the government. In my section of Ohio, the canal lands were held back and later sold by the State not the U.S. government. The tract books are really the only real way to determine what is going on.

Wow, Wonderful information at your fingertips if you can only find it!!!
