Reset Password by Church Membership Number seems to have disappeared.
Does anyone know why this is no longer an option? It worked so well for the youth, and when they come to the family history center they have often been asked to leave their cell phones home. It was great to have the bishop or his counselors there with their MRN to get them an account setup.
Thank you for your time on this.

FYI
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
Just in passing ...
Just in case, you were not aware ...
There has been a relatively RECENT "Split" of, Our CHURCH Account; and, Our 'FamilySearch' Account.
A "Change" in the "Password" of one, NO LONGER corresponds, in a "Change" in the "Password", of the other.
[ Like it used to ... ]
Here is a "Knowledge Article", in 'FamilySearch':
FamilySearch and Church Account Split
https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/familysearch-and-church-account-split
As such ...
That is the REASON, that we NO LONGER, have the "Option", to "Reset", our "Password", in 'FamilySearch', using our Membership number in the Church.
We now, ONLY have the options, to "Reset", our "Password", in 'FamilySearch', through/via, a ("Mobile") "Text" 'Message'; or, an "E-mail".
I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.
Brett
