I just want to tell the engineers and all of the FamilySearch workers that you are awesome. I spend hours and hours on FamilySearch and I still cannot believe how wonderful the program is and it just keeps getting better & better. When I take time to stop and think about how smoothly everything functions and how effective everything really is, I am amazed. I work at a Family History Center and the patrons love you, too, especially when they are new to Family History. I often hear comments like, "The program is so user friendly and so intutive."
The only people that I hear complaining about FamilySearch are people who are used to it functioning well and take it for granted that every small thing will be perfect. They take for granted what a wonderful, free program it is, and the complaints are really small. picky things compared to the overall program.
In addition whatever you have done lately to make the searching more efficent, thank you, thank you, thank you! FamilySearch is bringing up source matches that I could not find on Ancestry.

Just teasing. You know, I've been working at FamilySearch for almost ten years and I have to admit, sometimes it is easy to get caught up focusing on the day to day problems. However, it is fun to occasionally take a step back and look at just how far things have come. It is a slow ship, but the ship is sailing and there are a lot of people behind the scenes working to see it improve. So thanks for the kind words and we will pass it along.

complaining about FamilySearch
I'd like to offer a reframe of the idea that complains diminish FamilySearch. In fact, it is quite the opposite.
Many of us here are not complaining but rather providing bug reports and other valuable feedback. This is where we are asked to provide it. I came here last year when the former Case Report system was about to shut down. A FamilySearch customer support person called me at home to beg me to come here.
Bug reports do not diminish FamilySearch, and in many cases what you might dismiss as a minor inconsistency of no significance is in fact the clue engineers need to trace a serious bug deep in the inner workings.
We are part of why FamilySearch is so amazing.
