I can't wait to use the completed 1950 US Census at FamilySearch.org! I've been volunteering when I can at FamilySearch.org/1950census.

Having difficulty getting into geological areas. I believe I will wait a bit longer until I am fairly certain that the images will be available. Thank you for providing the information and the instructions. 🏃‍♀️

There seems to be a glitch in the Community Indexing. I select the State of New York & it brings up the page that says, "Review the 1950 Census in New York", click "Get Started" (under "Review Names") and it has the state listed as New York, so I put in my family name and the census page comes up, but it is for Virginia. Earlier I did one & it came up as California (San Diego) - not getting New York even though I have selected that in 2 different places.

Disappointed that the indexing page is unavailable. That is my relaxing work after a day of family, chores, and photo editing. Hope the pages will be quickly reinstated.

Yesterday I found Baylor, Texas (it is not in the drop-down list) with multiple Ed's like 12-6, 12-4, 12-3, 12-2, there were lots of other ED's that I had not searched. Now it says only 12-5 is all in Baylor & I found that with the Image group # I got yesterday. What's wrong?? It does not even have a ! place on the map for Baylor like Seymour, Texas which I was on yesterday.???

Not sure if the correct place to mention this, but some of the FS 1950 US Census hints are appearing in the Smart phone App for FSIDs (as well as regular computer Browser access) that are links that do do appear to work (FS Smart App) and/or presenting an error 404 page does not exist (web page Browser).

This FSID below is one of several dozens I have come across:

    Robert Clarence Lyerly 1882-1966 K2WD-D1P
