Church INTERNET Outages affecting FHC's
Are there any other FHCs that are experiencing internet outages besides mine? Mine is inside an Institute of Religion, which happens to be one of the church's 12 largest institutes. So my firewall & routers are not your typical "Managed Port" type via Technology Manager (like a normal meetinghouse has). Are there any other such FHC's having trouble getting any internet access at all?
My center (see TayFHC.org) has WiFi working just fine. And all other computers in this Institute building via same Comcast modem are working fine (because they had to upgrade their VPN from "AnyConnect" to "GlobalProtect VPN" last Friday April 1st). But my FHC computers are not allowed to go onto WiFi (disabled in motherboard anyway), and are on a special zone private subnet address 10.239.9.x as required by FamilySearch to recognize an FHC setup. And the instructions the Institute personnel received to install GlobalProtect requires a special church employee type portal called "Company Portal". So without internet access, its useless to install a VPN anyway, right?
Are any other FHC's having multi-day internet down time since April 1st? I was told by Global Support there are massive church network outages scattered throughout the U.S. & Canada.

Our Internet is working now. I got a specific DNS address from Nate Cox at SAI (Product Manager at Seminaries & Institutes) this morning, which solved our loss of internet problem. We had been configured with automatic (non-specific) DNS address.

Hello Jon
I will link this page to one of the FHC Managers and see what he may be able to offer you, to provision your Centre with a "Special Purpose" FHC connection to the Internet.
