What to do when the record date is outside of the project range?

I have been indexing United States—Enlisted and Officer Muster Rolls and Rosters, 1916–1939 [Part Q]. My next record M3PS-NRT is in the same format as all of the other Muster Roles I have completed but the year is listed as 1912. As this is out of the project range should I mark this as having no information or should I index it as usual?

According to the PI (Project Instructions/What To Remember About This Project), you index it as you would any record that falls within the date range.

    • Records that are outside of the project date range should still be indexed.
