Indexer mixing church membership with birth entries -

I have occasionally found batches that I am reviewing where the person who indexed the image, that is clearly marked church membership, is also creating additional ‘birth’ entries for the same names because the membership notation also includes a birth date.

I haven’t found any documentation about mixing the batches like this as there is very little guidance or clarification for the South Africa NGK church member batch. I am wondering if this is:

  1. A normal/approved process?
  2. As reviewer, are these mismatched entries removed?

Here is the batch M3DD-YQN link: https://www.familysearch.org/indexing/batch/d2e2f865-c450-403e-987d-da7941143a41

We only index birth dates when they are on a baptism record when only a birthdate is recorded. They should not make an extra entry for births.
