Inappropriate posts: how do you notify Family Search about them?

I found some "people" entered on Family Search with long names talking about murder (for example, ID #GDW9-VGT). These were all posted by LindseyRose3. How do you contact Family Search to let them know someone is goofing around typing in names and comments that are ghoulish?

Display the record for this PID and click on Report Abuse under the tools menu.

Report Abuse is the way to go. But it is only on the web interface, not the mobile app.

Usually a person in the FamilySearch Family Tree cannot be deleted. But if they never existed, an exception can be made. In those cases, you need to contact FamilySearch, and this forum is one of the main ways of doing that. I am not a FS staff member, but hopefully a FS staff member will see this soon and delete this nonsense profile.

Someone from FamilySearch appears to have read your post and (without acknowledgment) has changed the name against this ID. I had no misgivings about effectively vandalising this unpleasant piece of fiction, by detaching relationships and removing the unsavoury names from other IDs in the "branch". I like someone with a good sense of humour, but these inputs were completely childish and had no place in Family Tree.

As an update on this issue, I just had a message from LindseyRose3 - threatening to report me for the damage I had caused to her tree! I replied with a full explanation of why I had effectively removed this "family branch" from Family Tree. I explained that both the names and added comments to the profiles were most disturbing. I have (temporarily) put a "mute" on any messages from her. For those coming across this matter for the first time, I am adding a screenshot of the offending inputs (from the Change Log). Believe me, some of the names and comments were more disturbing than this!

And here's a couple of the "less-offensive" names I did not change:
