Mark record as questionable/unlikely

Often I come across records attached that are unlikely to be accurate. It would be helpful to be able to mark a record detail or source as questionable in order to perform research without disturbing the original record until confirmation can be made. This could also create notifications to other researchers requesting a collaboration in order to confirm the accuracy.

Could you elaborate more on what you mean by "records" that are "unlikely to be accurate"?

Are you thinking of cases where there are serveral marriage records, or christenting records, or whatever, and there's a good chance that exactly one relates to the person in the tree but it can't be the case that more than one does?

Or cases where someone shows up to participate in a religious ceremony, or declare something before a civil registry, and you're pretty sure the person in the tree is the declarant, or subject, or party, or whatever, but they either lied about, were confused about, or were misunderstood when they stated some facts in their declaration? Even basic facts, like their age, or marital status, or parents' marital status when they were born?

    Or something else?

May I suggest absolutely everything on Find a Grave, Ancestry Family Trees, My Heritage, etc.?
