Hello JayRestrepo1!
There are many ways to search for those cards. It would be great if you describe a little more those cards, because for diferent reasons FamilySearch is not allow to publish some images (like "Cedulas") so if you are triying to find some certificates like birth certificates or a marriage certificate you can follow this steps to search in the catalog. I personally love searching for place:
- Sign in to FamilySearch.
- In the menu banner at the top of the screen, click Search.
- In the drop-down menu, click Catalog.
- Narrow your search. You can use as many filters as you want.
- Place: As you type, the system shows possible matches. Click the one that matches the place of interest.
There are other ways to filter your search taht are also really helpful like keywords:
- Keywords: Searches the following fields for the keywords you enter.
- Notes (including film notes)
- Series
- Subjects
- Statement of Responsibility
- Authors
- Title
- 5. Enter the information and click Search
You will find hopefully a lot of information and you can take a look on the records. (opening the details will be usefull) and then you can click on the camera icon to see the images and there you can search image by image) or if there's a magnifier you can search by name.
I hope this is helpfull to you
you can learn a lot about other filters and the process in this link

Can you give me a little more info? What Identity cards are you looking for and from where?

Hello @Sam Sulser
Thank you for your reply. I'm looking for identity cards of my great-grandparents. They passed by 1967 in Colombia, but I live in USA. There is a Colombian Embassy but I want to know if they may provide me the cards or at least the photocopies online so that I won't have to travel to Colombia.
If this is not possible, would you know any alternative solutions?
(My family does not have the cards FYI).
-Thank you
Jay

@JayRestrepo1, based on the information that you have shared, you might take a look at the Catalog entry, "Colombia, Tarjetas Alfebéticas del Archivo Civil, registro civil." Although, most of the entries are not yet available to be viewed online, there are several films on page 23 that can be viewed now. If you are lucky enough that your g-grandparents name fall within those alphabetical ranges, you might be able to find them.
What you are looking for, if it is be found in FamilySearch, will likely be in a "Civil Registration" set of films or collection.
You might want to take a look at the FamilySearch Wiki page for "Colombia Civil Registration" for additional suggestions.
Hope this helps.

@Mike357 Thank you so much!!!! This is exactly what I was looking for.
My question is now how can I make the search here easier since all titles are from Valle de Cauca to the department of Caldas which is where my family is from and rested?
Also it says alphabetic order, is that only by last name because the A-Z order repeats many times per archive section so sometimes it goes from a last name starting at G and back to A.
Thank you,
Jay
