FamilySearch - Ancestry partner access problem
There is an issue with members in our stake finding that they cannot access Ancestry from their FamilySearch account even though they are signed up for the church member's partner account. Ancestry will not allow access from FamilySearch and consistently require a sign in. Although members can still access Ancestry separately with their login details, it is much more convenient and less error prone if they can link straight in from a FamilySearch record.
Is this a common problem? Does anyone know how it can be fixed?
Much appreciated!

Hello @Lisa Prebble
I have found that when you wish to go back and forth between FamilySearch and Ancestry (or, for that matter, any of the partners), it works best to open the partner site first. Then, when searching the partner site for records from the person's profile page in Family Tree, logging in again is not required.

Henrieta, you need to post your question in the Temple category so that your question can receive the proper attention.

I signed-in properly to familysearch.org and then go to partner access at ancestry.com for free access because it shows that I am entitled for free as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I can search the research name but whenever I click the view record, the subscription update keeps on popping up. What should I do in order to view the record?

@yzh, when you get the subscription popup, can you sign-in with your Ancestry login and password? I think if you do login at that time you will not have to do that again.

Also, check to see if you happened to create a second account. I've found a number of folks who had signed up for the partner access some time ago and didn't realize they created a new Ancestry account instead of using their old one.
