You are not alone ...
Short Answer: 'Yes', we ALL are, the matter has recent been reported.
Take a 'look' at this additional, recent, 'Post', about the "Notifications" 'Bell' icon NOT working ...

My temple notifications is not working

IF, that is what you are experiencing; THEN, it is STILL a Problem/Issue ...
Some ... 10½ Hours .... LATER ...
[ ie. NOT addressed/fixed; as, yet ... ]
I know, that this certainly does not help/assist; but, I just wanted to let you know, that you are not alone.
[ ie. We are ALL in the SAME 'Boat' ... ]

After some experimentation I noticed that the notification bell icon on the home page and person page is not working. But it does work on other pages. If you are on a person page and select show all changes, the notification icon does work. I know it's not a solution to the problem, but at least you can still access your notifications in the interim while a proper solution is worked on.

It's 'Brett'.

I CANNOT get the "Notifications" 'Bell', to work, from ANY page/screen, in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
And ...
I tried in the "Browser(s)" of:
▬ 'Google' "Chrome"; and/or,
▬ 'Mozilla' "FireFox"; and,
▬ 'Microsoft' "Edge'
All, using the "Operating System" of "Windows 10".
All, with the LATEST "Versions" of each.
Just my thoughts.

The 'Workaround', until the problem/issue, is addressed/fixed, is to use the URL:
https://www.familysearch.org/notifications/
Which takes one, to one's "Notifications"; where, the "Default", is the FIRST 'Category', of "Discoveries".
[ ie. URL = https://www.familysearch.org/notifications/discoveries ]
I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat; as, 'Workaround'.

It works on my computer, which is why I offered it as a workaround.

'Yes', we all know, including 'FamilySearch' ...
'FamilySearch', is in the Process, of addressing/fixing such,
But ...
That Said ...
It is NOT, as simple, as most of us think.
They FIRST, have to find and identify, the cause; before, they can start to address/fix.
"Programming"; and, "Coding"; and, especially, even, doing the remedial work, is NOT easy.
We just need to be patient.
I know, that this certainly does not help/assist; but, I hope, that this may provide you with, some additional, insight; and, perspective.
And ...
As an aside ...
Of course ...
In the interim ...
There is ALWAYS, the 'Workaround', until the problem/issue, is addressed/fixed; which, is to use the URL:
https://www.familysearch.org/notifications/
Which takes one, to one's "Notifications"; where, the "Default", is the FIRST 'Category', of "Discoveries".
[ ie. URL = https://www.familysearch.org/notifications/discoveries ]
I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.

ps: One can simply just "Bookmark" that URL ... one then has quick and easy access ...
