I'm trying to research possible Native American ancestry but I don't know what any of this information means really.

    Hi,

This information shows that it is coming from an imported tree. The FTW extension seems to suggest that this was imported from a Family Tree Maker tree, on 17 Feb 2000. The other information is data that had been in the notes section or other fields, within Family Tree Maker at the time of imported. When imported, so this important data is not lost, FamilySearch collates it all and puts it in the notes section on the Family Tree.

Just checking and reading through this again. It does look like the family tree maker tree, under two different file names has been imported twice, first in Nov 99 and then Feb 2000. Fortunately the data has been merged and there isn't a duplicate person!

Not sure if this helps you too much, but hopefully it explains how this data got into FamilySearch.

    Thanks
