Why is the "Add Spouse" buttons greyed out for these Living persons?
I was processing a record hint for my 5th cousin born in 1948 who I've previously created as Living. The record hint shows a daughter born in 1976, and it shows the father's name (husband of the mother) both of which I didn't have. But when I tried to click "Add" for the husband in source linker, it kept complaining that I hadn't checked the Living or Deceased radio button, but I had clicked Living. Rinse & repeat, over & over same results.
So then I tried to manually add the husband mentioned in the source, by clicking the "Add Spouse" button, but nothing happened because it was greyed out. Notice that the "Add Child" button is also greyed out. Is there a new reason? Or is this something turned off while engineering is fixing a related bug? See snapshot.
I looked at some of my other living people (more closely related), and their buttons are not greyed out. But I looked at Julianne's sister Debra, and her "Add Spouse" buttons are also greyed out. So is there some crazy unwritten rule that limits how distant of a relative you can go, before not being allowed to add their living spouse?
Hopefully engineering can take a look at my account. I can give them my helper# if needed.

The IDs you have for Julianne and Debra, need to be marked as female. Then you will be able to add spouses/children, etc.

To be a spouse or parent an ID must be male or female, not unknown
