Change the Way Ordinance Limits are Handled
I appreciate the need for limiting the number of names a user can reserve/print. Really, I do. We have an enthusiastic geneaologist or two who used to call "dibs" on every single name, so I am thankful for the implementation of limits. I am hoping however, that there might be a different way of handling it? I have six teens/young adults who are unendowed that would like to do baptisms. It is discouraging to make an appointment for my kids to go and then only be able to print 4 names. There isn't even one for each of them. I don't have a suggestion for a better way, I am just sad my kids are unable to do family names when we go.

FYI
Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
Just in passing ...
Although, I understand ...
The "Limit", to which you refer, ONLY applies to "OrdinancesReady" ...
There is NO such Limit, for "Requesting", the "Reservations", OTHER than, through "OrdinancesReady" ...
[ Except, of course, the New MAXIMUM "Limit", of x300 "Reservations", in one's List of "My Reservations" ... ]
We can do that ourselves, in "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch', in the "Ordinances" 'Tab', of our Ancestors.
Please be aware that the "OrdinancesReady" feature/function/facility is ONLY, really, for a quick; and, easy, process of, FINDING; and, PRINTING, the "Temple" Cards, when one is going to visit the "Temple", that day or the next, when one DOES NOT have ANY "Temple" Cards, 'on-hand', available.
The "OrdinancesReady" feature/function/facility is certainly NO substitute, for doing one's due diligence, well IN ADVANCE of visiting the "Temple" of, FINDING; and, PRINTING, the "Temple" Cards, for one's Ancestors, to have 'on-hand', available, through one's "Reservations" List; and/or, normal research.
Unfortunately ...
In this day and age, it appears that many Users/Patrons, consider that "OrdinancesReady" is the way to go; as, "OrdinancesReady" is such, a quick; and, easy, process.
We never had, "OrdinancesReady" up until a few Years ago.
"OrdinancesReady", is simply helpful/useful for those, that are 'caught in a bind'; when, they have a "Temple" visit scheduled (or, are notified of one, scheduled by, a Ward/Branch/Stake/District); but, unfortunately, do not have any "Temple" Cards, for their Ancestors, 'on-hand', available.
And, in fact, really, ALL the, Youth; and, Young Adults, SHOULD actually be "Printing", the "Temple" Cards, for their own Ancestors - that would be most beneficial.
As an aside ...
What about, asking the Members, of one's Ward/Branch/Stake/District, for ANY "Temple" Cards, for the initial "Ordinances", that they want the Work "Completed"; but, that they, cannot do; or, do not need to specifically do, themselves - I am sure there will be some.
Just my thoughts.
I know, that this certainly may not help/assist; but, I hope, this provides you with some additional, insight; and, perspective.
Whereas ...
Who is to say things will not change in the future ...

If your kids are old enough to serve as proxies in the Temple, they should be old enough to each have their own Church account, and their own FamilySearch account linked to it, so they should at least be able to pull four names each.
(Maybe there's a legal corner-case in some country where minors, or at least the younger teenagers, are not legally eligible to have FamilySearch accounts. But in practice, I am in the United States, and my 18-, 14-, and 12-year-old children each have a Church account and a FamilySearch account tied to it, and we've had a couple youth activities this year that were Family History Center visits.)
