Corrections
I suggest there is an easier way to send info on needed corrections. I have a search result for Rouey Roberts that comes up as Ronvey and the EDIT key isn't available. I have been going in circles to find a way to send a notice that his name is transcribed incorrectly. I find NO way to do that except this route hoping it gets to someone. On some other sites it's simple to report an error. Thanks

I'm having the same problem. No citation information for a particular event. There used to be a box at the upper right hand corner where you could click on it and get the attention of someone. Now there doesn't seem a way to do that, or at least not an easy way.

Similarly here. I have a whole township of census that is marked as illegible, so It's probably a technical or indexing problem. I talked to someone in 'chat', was told it 'should go to historical records'. I expected to find a category called "historical records" but can't. Just lots of entries regarding source records we attach.
Why is it so hard to get help with issues like these, that another user can't help with?

I think the issue is that FamilySearch doesn't own some of these transcriptions. If the transcription was created by FamilySearch, then FamilySearch typically has an edit button so that patrons can contribute corrections. But some of the transcriptions are actually coming from other companies (FindMyPast, for one example), and those other companies are not allowing FamilySearch to make corrections to these record transcriptions that are not owned by FamilySearch. If you give us a link to the Rouey/Ronvey record, we could better determine if that is the case.

I too have seen clear errors where they relate to my own tree. After hitting a few likely buttons and getting nowhere I usually give it up as a timewaster.
It would be so easy to simply install a 'fact challenge' button on a page to allow a brief one-line comment surely (for registered commenters).
