Relatives at RootsTech ends March 25, 2022
Relatives at RootsTech ends March 25, 2022 this tool is absolutely fantastic ! It is helping me to fill in the blanks... however there is not enough time in the day to use this feature considering the magnitude of the trees I am managing, and it is expiring. Is there any way you can keep this feature until RootsTech 2023 ??? Factor it in to either RelativeFinder or FamilySearch or keep it alive in a RootsTech link? Even another 6 months would help a lot.
I especially like the sort by Ancestors... and how we are related charts...
Thanks, you have unleased the giants!

I'm another person who truly wishes, hopes, and prays that we can keep the RootsTechRelatives tool around a little bit longer, especially with the 1950 Censuses coming out! I am THOroughly enjoying finding out that some of my friends are even distant cousins to me, as oftentimes we thought we should be related! :) Yes, I love the idea of keeping it through 2023 if it can't be a permanently established tool.
Will you please consider extending time to use the RootsTech Relatives tool? I don't think you anticipated just how helpful and fun this gem truly is!

I too would like the feature to be long-term or permanent. But since they've promised users that it will end on 25 March and all data will be deleted then, they probably can't legally extend it without getting the permission of each user.

@A van Helsdingen @Estella Houston and all others who are interested in this suggestion for extending Relatives at RootsTech, please add your vote. It is a metric that gets attention and matters to the teams responsible for a FamilySearch feature or product.
If you want to be "heard", there is no need to shout (SHOUT) 😉. Simply vote and idea up or down.

FYI
Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
[ As, you ONLY joined, this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, in LATE February, of this Year ... ]
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
You say ...
It is a metric that gets attention and matters to the teams responsible for a FamilySearch feature or product
and ...
If you want to be "heard", there is no need to shout (SHOUT) 😉. Simply vote and idea up or down.
Having been around, for quite some time ...
I have to suggest, that MANY of us, have to really question, that later statement ...
You may be CORRECT, that "RootsTech" matters, MAY get attention and matters to the teams responsible ...
But ...
That Said ...
The REAL Problem/Issue is that in SOME cases, we DO NOT appear to be 'Heard' ...
[ And, that is; even, if we SHOUT or not ... it makes NO difference ... ]
[ Plus, "Voting" (and/or, "Liking"), seems to make NO difference ... ]
In SOME of cases ...
[ Aside from "RootsTech" ... ]
(1) There is NO acknowledgement, of the matter, by ANY "Official 'FamilySearch' Representative" ...
.... [ eg. Moderators ( ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) ]; or, Product Manager; or, Engineers ... ]
(2) A simple either,
.... ▬ Often suggested/recommended;
.... ▬ Been Considered (are not doing);
.... ▬ Being Considered;
.... ▬ Under Development (and, eventual Implementation);
.... ▬ Developed; and, being Tested;
.... ▬ Developed; Tested; and, being Implemented (NO 'Time Frame')
.... ▬ Already Implemented
or, even, a combination of ...
Would be better than NOTHING at all ...
We DO NOT want, a 'Thank You'.
But ...
That Said ...
We DO want, an "Acknowledgement", from an "Official 'FamilySearch' Representative", of some sort ...
And, we DO want, information of whether SUCH or OTHER, is; or, is not, in the "Scheme" of things ...
Just my thoughts.
Brett
ps: Please do not be offended ... just responding to your 'Comment' ...

I, too, would like to see the RootsTech Relatives info stay longer. If not, however, I wonder if there is a way to at least move my "Top 300" names into my "Contact" list in bulk, rather than opening each one individually and selecting "+CONTACT". I'd like to have a little longer to try to contact those "reasonably close relatives" over the next couple of months.
