Here is a "knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch':
Can I request that FamilySearch digitize a book?
Where, it states:
Quote
------------------
When you find an item in the Family History Library catalog on FamilySearch that is currently available only in book form, you can contact us to request to have the book digitized and added to the FamilySearch Digital Library
Steps
- In the Catalog, find the book you need.
- If the book is digitized and online, the Notes section contains a link to it in the FamilySearch Digital Library. Some books are digitized, but we do not have permission to put them online, so scroll down to the Film/Digital notes section. If you see a Image Group Number (DGS) for the book, it is already digitized, but we do not have permission to make it available online.
- If the book is not digitized, send an email to DigitalLibrary@familysearch.org and provide the information below in the body of the email:
- Request to digitize a book.
- Title, author, and call number of the book.
- Your name, phone number, and email address.
- Send the email.
Keep these things in mind when you make your request:
- We cannot digitize some books due to copyright or other legal restrictions.
- We cannot estimate how long it takes to digitize a book.
- In most instances, we do not contact you when digitization is complete. Check the catalog from time to time to see if the content you need is online.

Good Luck.
I hope, that this may also help/assist, somewhat.

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
[ And, I have been a Staff Member, of Family History Centres", of the Church, for many Years ... ]
[ Plus, I am from "Downunder" ... ]
Just in passing ...
I have requested, that the 'Comment' of yours, be "Moved", from here (ie. "Suggest An Idea"), to 'FamilySearch Help', under the 'Category' of "Search".
So that, those in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum (especially, the "Moderators") can better help/assist.
I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.
