REVISE THE MERGE PAGE
Right now on the merge page you have two columns: The one that ends up going on the left and the one that remains after the process is completed. Great!
The comparison is what takes more time than is needed in most cases. The name of the person is at the top of both columns. And this is what follows under the names in both columns:
OTHER INFO OTHER INFO
(All of this information can easily be checked because it is across from each other as you go down the page.
Now this is where it goes wrong: If one column has the parents and the spouse's name; and the other column has the spouses name and not parents name then they are not across from each other. By the time you add the other siblings under the parents or children of the spouse and person they are down the page from what you want to compare. Now I know this is better than what we had to do in the past but it is NOT THE BEST we can do. Whatever side does not have any information you leave open or with a note "NO INFO" and keep that space open so the information on the next section will be right across from it in the other column. WE NEED TO CUT DOWN ON THE TIME AND THE NUMBER TIMES WE HAVE TO HIT THE KEYS TO COMPARE THINGS.
