Field Instructions: If you cannot determine if a name is a given name or a surname, type it in this field.

Since you don't know what it is, leave it with the First/Given Name.

My initial thought seeing this was the scribe entered the F for Female in the wrong place. 😀

I thought because the Fathers last name begins with an F but I have seen SL use only the mothers last name sometimes. I will leave it in the First name.

The general indexing guidelines tell us to put the name in the given name field if we cannot tell where they belong.

" If you cannot determine whether a name is a given name or a surname, type it in the Given Names field."
