Search defaults

I would like to keep search by ID as my default so I don't have to switch it every time I am on FamilySearch. It would be nice if the system remembers what I last used when searching. I use Find by ID 95% of the time.

Whereas I find "Find by ID" totally and completely useless: if I have the ID, then I don't need to search for anything. I can just paste the ID in place of whatever ID is at the end of the URL, or I can use the box at the top of the Recents list.
