Are you going to fix the problem with the reviewing? If this is how the 1950 census is going to be no one will do it. We cannot do it if we have to go over and over and over and over the same name multiple times. It is a waste of time. Please answer and let me know when it is fixed.

This isnt a glitch that needs to be fixed. The program is an evolving one and as we correct and give the feedback and imput, over time it will gain precision and the mistakes will be less and less. Our job is to correct it by review. Eventually as it gets better and better, i dont think we will even be needed.

Ive had these same problems, and having it select dates, numbers, Column headings, titles, etc. It might be repetitive, or boring but it has a reason and its not a waste of time. Its super simple to flag the field and move on.

I admire your optimism, Colin. I think humans are going to be needed to back-up the AI process for some time to come.

Colin I disagree. I do not mind correcting it when it selects dates, numbers etc. I mind having to fix the same name 4 times before it accepts it. I think they need to fix it or most will get discouraged with working with it

Humans are smarter than computers. Lovely thing about AI is they can do the grunt work faster than we can and then we can review to make sure they did it right.

We are at the beginning of a great adventure working with AI to get these records done much faster than ever.

I tried it again and it looks like the issue with checking the same entry multiple times has been fixed. I was able to buzz right through and only had to accept or correct each entry once.

Thank you for your feedback. As with just about any technical tool or feature, there are often bugs and issues (especially in the beginning despite much testing) that arise and need to be resolved. This is a known bug that the engineers are actively investigating.
