divorce field
I run into this problem repeatedly while helping patrons; need a divorce field to show up under the marriage field on the personal page. And, also need an easier approach to entering divorce information. Currently, you have to "hunt" for the field to even enter the divorce info and most patrons can't field the edit field ๐

Just in passing ...
You are not alone ...
Firstly ...
Great suggested enhancement.
But, that said, please be, aware; and, advised, that such is certainly NOT "New" ...
Secondly ...
Regarding the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch' ...
Question: WHY do we "... need a divorce field to show up under the marriage field on the personal page ..."?
And, ...
Question: WHY do we "... need an easier approach to entering divorce information ..."?
And, I am not being combative here, I am just 'looking' from the other perspective ...
The "Event" of "Divorce" ALREADY exists ...
The "Real Estate" (ie. room of a page/screen), CAN be very LIMITED; especially, for "Mobile" Devices.
ONLY the EARLIEST "Event" is DISPLAYED.
"Marriage", comes BEFORE, "Divorce" ...
Therefore, ONLY the "Marriage", will be displayed.
[ You will NOT 'see' the "Divorce" ... ]
It is as SIMPLE as that ...
Look, I like MANY, would love to 'see', an "Indicator", that a "Divorce" existed, if recorded.
Over the Years, there have been COUNTLESS "Requests" (for "Enhancement") to include, a "Divorce"; or, at least, an "Indicator" thereof.
As yet, such has NOT eventuated (ie. been implemented).
We can but live in hope ...
Now ...
That Said ...
Entering the "Event" of "Divorce", is EAXCTLY the SAME; as, entering the "Event" of "Marriage" (or, whatever) ...
It is EASY ...
WHAT is so DIFFICULT?
WHY do we need anything DIFFERENT?
Again, I am not being combative here, I am just 'looking' from the other perspective ...
I know, that this certainly may not help/assist; but, I hope, that this may provide you with, some additional, insight; and, perspective.

I am 100% with you. I don't want to have to go into different fields to find out this information that could be a third line on the main page. This is MAJOR information that is helpful at a glance with regard to doing research and finding family (did they split up, subsequent marriages, etc.). The divorce field is buried, and unless you know your way around family search, you don't even know it's there.
If I have a couple who did not have children and who divorced in life, I don't want to seal them. If I can see right from the tree that they were divorced, that will save the effort.

Having a "Divorce" indicator, will NOT "Stop", Couples from being "Sealed".
Here is a :Knowledge Article", in 'FamilySearch':
Requesting that ordinances not be performed
