Find Similar People Tool
The updates made to this tool make it unusable. The functions to filter the list do not work. I understand the premise for changing this feature, but, the changes have made the feature unusable.
For Example: I am searching for Helen Stone with husband Noah Woodward. When I filter by husband name the results come back with every Helen with husband named Noah (regardless of surname) and every Helen with husband Woodward (regardlass of given name). The result is over 164K people. UNUSABLE.

Could you please put the tool back to the way it was and fix the problems with the new format prior to implementation.

Another issue with the FSP tool is the dates.
eg I'm searching for someone born around 1657.
The results are not ordered in any way I can tell.
It would be useful to be able to put them in date order so at least I wouldn't have folks b 1913 in the results.
ALSO-for people wo any dates, suggest make a very approx dates function. Eg, if a woman had a kid in 1860, her DOB pretty much has to be between 1800 and 1850. So create that as a default so people have at least very large date ranges.
SHe couldn't be born in 1870 for example.

At least you can filter the results when checking "Exact" against the individual's name and birthplace. I quickly managed to reduce my initial list of results from 832,355 to 39 by showing the birthplace of a William Neal as "Middlesex, England". Unfortunately, the inputted date range is totally ignored.
The problem is part of the overall issue with FIND not working as it should. In spite of many reports here, over the last couple of months (probably longer), we still have no positive confirmation the engineers are even working on this.
So, until FIND is fixed, "Find Similar People" will also remain pretty useless.

There are still some issues, but, FamilySearch has made some improvements with this feature.

I can confirm both tools, Find and Find Similar People, are now working much better.
