It would be helpful to add the above town description to the dropdown box and in the burial box include Old Norwichtown Cemetery, instead of Old Burying Ground Cemetery.

Prior to 1784, Norwich, Connecticut was called Norwichtown, Connecticut. 95% of the Huntington family was born in this town (my mother's family), so I have to enter Norwichtown every time. I also explain, in the box below the town, the above information. However, people are going back in and changing the information to read Norwich, CT. They aren't even bothering to read the town history that is included.

On Ancestry.com the source titled "Connecticut Births & Christenings 1649-1906" also shows the name Norwichtown, CT. If you need an example, please check ID #LVJN-M6S for Lydia Bill.

Thank You!

Try whichever one of these applies. I was able to get the location of same-named cemetery corrected very quickly.
