Enhance the Source Edit Sub-Screen on the Sources Screen
On the Sources Screen if one clicks on a source title a Menu line (View, Edit, …) line appears followed by the URL and then the Indexed Information adjusted to reflect the subject of the Sources Screen. If there is the option to edit certain fields (e.g. Name, Event Place, etc.) an Edit option appears. If this Edit option is utilized the changes are propagated to all versions of the source. However if the Edit in the Menu line is selected and any edits are made in the Edit sub-screen (e.g. Source Title, Notes, etc.) the changes are not propagated to all person attached to the source.
Enhance the Source sub-screen Edit function to Allow a user to propagate source edits across all persons currently attached to the source. This should not infringe on database ownership issues if the change is only made to the copy attached to a person (as apposed to the database copy)
It is tedious and unnecessarily time consuming to go to each person's source page and edit the same source attached to each person associated with the source. For example, with an obituary or a census record there can be numerous people that may be associated with a source.

Those are two completely different facets or parts of FamilySearch: one is the source citation, which for index entries is meant to be unique to the profile it's attached to, while the other is the index itself, and is therefore only peripherally related to the Family Tree.
