Is it possible to provide a way to register relationships &children born before marriage into family
There should be an option to provide a "relationship" before marriage when entering people. From the 1600's through the 2022's not every relationship is a marriage to be entered and there is no other way to clarify. In baptismal books in Europe, sometimes the father of a child born"out of wedlock" is mentioned, but Familytree does not allow for that distinction. Not everything is black & white, but there are several shades of grey. Thank you for your consideration.

It is possible to enter parents separately, i.e. without implying any relationship between them.

FYI
Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
Short Answer: 'Yes'.
A "Couple", CAN certainly, be recorded (and, exist), in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch', WITH a Child associated; and, NO "Event"; OR, where, the Child's "Birth", is AFTER, a Marriage.
Such is quite acceptable ...
I certainly have some, in my "Ancestral" Lines ...
A Child's "Birth", DOES NOT, have to be AFTER, a "Marriage", of its Parents ...
And, equally, a Child, CAN be, associated with a Couple; where, there is NO "Event"
[ eg. NO, "Marriage"; and/or, "Lived Together" ... ]
There are NO "Rules" for such; as, it all depends upon the situation/circumstance ...
[ And, every situation/circumstance can be different; and, in some cases, unique ... ]
There are NO limits ...
And, of course, how a User/Patron wishes such to appear ...
[ But, remember, such can certainly be "Changed", by ANOTHER User/Patron, at any stage ... ]
Just my thoughts.

Although the relationship table uses the label "Spouse", the table merely defines a couple. So I list all the children of the couple and the marriage date, if any, regardless of where in the family's timeline a marriage is recorded.
So, to me, there is no problem here needing solution.
