does anyone know what (cal'd) means? it is listed after a couple of different names of bride and groom.

not every record on this image has that (cal'd) after the given name and surname listed in the document.

My best guess: col'd = colored

    US, Missouri—County Marriages, 1806–1969 [Part P][M9YR-SRQ]

that's the batch. entry 1 and 4 both have the same markings

I opened several other batches and didn't find anything similar. I seem to remember earlier rounds where it clearly stated "Colored," so I'm agree with genthusiast.

Just enter the names. The researchers can enter race where appropriate.

I do remember indexing other batches, years prior to this, that I came across some projects where the recorder made note of the couple if they were African American. So my guess would be the same as genthusiast.
