Lack of Instructions

What do we do when Initials are displayed, then the Surname is displayed, then the whole name is displayed (2 or 3 times), all correctly. Do we 'Match' each display, or flag the Initials and Surnames as 'Incomplete' and only accept one of the displayed whole names?

I hope someone has some good instructions on what we are supposed to be doing.

Please accept each of those times as correct. The computer is learning as are we! I suspect that each time it asks it is verifying another reviewer's answers against yours so if 3 people reviewed it then you are reviewing their work as well as the AI. I know that if I have made a mistake early on it will ask me again several times to review that same name usually asking as a whole name then each part of the name.

    Hope that wasn't confusing!

Thanks. Hopefully this will be going smoothly by the time we start the 1950 census

We will all be getting used to a new way of getting these records out to researchers. It is going to be an exciting pioneering experience!

Thank you for your feedback. We are also working on a frequently asked questions (FAQ) knowledge article (KA) that will be available in the FamilySearch Help Center that will answer some of the questions we are frequently seeing.
