@Cynthia Christ Sorry that you've had to wait so long for an answer. I am not a research expert, but I can guide you to some additional ways to search in FamilySearch to see if you can find the information you are looking for. Records on FamilySearch are in several places. Here are some searches you might try:
- Explore Historical Images. Click Search and then Images after you sign in to FamilySearch. This is where you can find images of historical records. Some are indexed and others are not yet indexed. You might not find the exact book you are seeking, but you might find some records of interest. In the place search box, enter Swidnica and then click the variations on the place name that seems to be the best match. Click Search Image Groups. If we have images of records for that place, you can view search them.
- Search the Catalog. Click Search and then Catalog. Again, search by place. Or click the to search by Titles and try entering the specific title you have.
- Click Search and then Books. Again, you can search by place or title to see if we or a partner library has the specific record.
- Click Search and then Research Wiki. You won't find records here, but the Poland Genealogy page has lots of links to resources that might help you move your research forward.
Wish I could have given you more specific help. Perhaps some of the other folks here in the Community will be able to give you better directions. Wish you well with your research efforts.
