@janderosia - Would you be happy to share your batch number, please?

I was working in FamilySearch not indexing. Perhaps I should be in the FS community instead of indexing. I was hoping I could fix the problem easily.

Firstly, yes, if your problem relates to working within Family Tree (and attaching census sources) the Family Tree category of Community is probably the best place to post your query.
Secondly, I don't quite see your problem. A census record would be attached to each individual who appears in that record. There does not have to be / not be any connection between Pressenbach and Semones families. If the "Unfinished attachments" indicator is causing problems, you can either ignore or "Dismiss" this.
Sorry if I am misunderstanding your issue, but similar issues probably happen all the time in connection with some census collections - especially where the division of different family groups does not appear clearly.

@janderosia I was intrigued by your post (even though it probably belongs somewhere else) I took a look at this record. I did find one connection to both these families. If you look at the second column entitled "Dwelling houses numbered in order of visitation" both families are listed in dwelling number 115. It looks to me like two households in one dwelling.
You can just ignore the "unfinished attachments" you see in the sources for your family. When the Valentine Pressenbach family finds this source they can attach it to their family. Or maybe, somehow these two families are related more than you might think? Just a question.
I have a lot of "unfinished attachments" in my sources, especially censuses. Usually, it's a boarder, or a friend living in the home. Attaching the source does not link the two families together in FamilyTree.
I hope you find joy in researching your family history. Thank you for your question.
@PiperTWilson Can move this post to the correct category. Hopefully, they can get a better answer than mine. Maybe there is a way to fix this??
