There are names that are skipped and there is no way to add or correct as in indexing.

I have corrected over 5,000 records since Opportunities came on line. My records were very clear, well written, and in English. However the name "Mary" was now "June" (even the least of the indexers couldn't have messed up that bad). "Fred McGrath" was turned into "Three Broth". "Fort" was seen as "Sard". Two different peoples surnames were linked together or two different first names were indexed as one name. Dates, Titles, numbers, phrases, and common uncapitalized words were erroneously indexed as names. The fancy artistic scroll border of a document was indexed as a name (none of our 26 letters there). Don was listed three times on a marriage record as: Don, Oon, and Qon. "Don" was the same on each line of the record. A surname in a marriage listed four times was seen by AI in four different ways. On my last review page there were 123 "names/words/numbers" selected and 77 of them were wrong or 63%. My main concern is all the actual, easy to read, names that were skipped and there is no way to correct that massive indexing error.

I think there are program bugs that need to be worked out. Overall, the computer indexing of names is quite accurate.

Have you had any documents that you reviewed come back to you again for a second time? I've had a few and had one document come back for a third time!

Yes, I have had a couple of documents return as if they'd never been reviewed, not long after I had completely reviewed them. In most every document I've reviewed, and that is not a few, there were many simple errors. Many mistakes human indexers would not have made or missed. We'll pray for many bugs to be worked out of the system. The AI has not reached the intelligent level as of yet.

We are better than AI which is why we are the ones doing the reviewing! AI is faster though so using both our strengths we can get these done much faster!

Thank you for your feedback. There are several known bugs that the engineers are actively working to resolve. Your continued help is appreciated. The Names Review activity is only a few weeks old and has gone through extensive testing before release. But, as with pretty much any technical tool, there are bugs and issues that arise. We appreciate your patience as the issues are resolved.
