Allow unlimited alternate names in the records search linked to a person in Family Tree.
Would you please allow unlimited alternate names in the records search linked to a person in Family Tree? I added a valid alternate name for an ancestor that would allow FamilySearch to find her in an 1860 United States Census, but because I already had five alternate names, mysixth name did not appear in the records search.

WHY, would you want, to search using not ONLY, the "Name"; but, ALSO x5 "Alternate Names", in one go?
I search, using the "Name"; and, maybe, ONLY, with ONE "Alternate Name", at a time.
Often, ONLY searching, with the "Alternate Names", one at a time.
The LESS "Names", the BETTER; and, more often, the BETTER results.
Why, "Overload", the "System"; and, therefore, then have an "Overload", of results.
As an aside ...
Personally, I NEVER liked, the MANY "Alternate Names", appearing (prepopulated) when one went to "Search".
I would "Delete"/"Remove", ALL the "Alternate Names"; BEFORE, I actually, initiated a "Search".
And, later search for each "Alternate Name" separately.
As such ...
I am sorry ...
I DO NOT 'see', the need, for ADDITIONAL; nor, as you suggested, UNLIMITED, "Alternate Names", in "Search".
In most cases, the average User/Patron, would not need such; plus, it would only complicate things, for them.
Personally, I would prefer, that the "System", DID NOT, prepopulate with the "Alternate Names", in a "Search".
Just my thoughts.
