Opinion needed for Missouri Marriage Index

I need an opinion on this. As you can see just a month and day are present on this page with a notation on the far right of what I assume is a recording date. I assume this first month and day is the license date but was not able to go far into the pages to confirm what this information was for. Can I assume that if it shows September 25th and the recording date is in 1945 that it's safe to put that year in since these records are from the 20th Century?

Also with this assignment, I assume I keep adding entries for both pages shown?

Thank you!

These records run from 1806 so you cannot assume they are records from the 1900's. Did you check the reference images? I gather you did because you said you were unable to go into the pages to confirm?

The field help for year tells us to mark these <blank> if we cannot determine the 4 number year.

"if you cannot determine the 4-digit year, press Ctrl+B to mark this field blank."

We are not allowed to go to other sites for the information not on the page. Please do not index from Ancestry or any other site.

About your question "Also with this assignment, I assume I keep adding entries for both pages shown?"

Based on the number of marriages on these two pages, you would continue to add entries for each documented marriage. So you should have around 60+ entries for this batch.

Yes - I did finally go to Ancestry to view the actual record. It is from 1945.

As annewandering mentions, check your reference images.

I did find another batch, https://www.familysearch.org/indexing/batch/1ccde992-1add-4f07-8592-beaf323f675f that shows column headings.

At least this one listed the year at the top of the Date of Issue (first) column which you are missing with your batch. The written dates at the far right look like they correspond to the last 2 columns, Date Returned.

Unfortunately, records are not always returned or recorded in a timely manner so the two years might be different.
