Just my thoughts.
I know, that this certainly may not help/assist; but, I hope, that this may provide you with, some additional, insight; and, perspective.

Just to add some additional information here, there are two copies of the 1900 census in the system. One is removed (the top one), and one is still available, but the record hints on the PID details screen was only showing the removed 1900 record. I think another question would be to ask why the system only recognized the removed record as a match, and didn't recognize the active record as a match. When I searched records, the two 1900 census records were the top two hits, neither one was attached (I have since attached the active one--which is why it now shows as attached), and yet only one record hint was showing in the system. I know they are actively working on this, I just wanted to throw more information their way.
