I am indexing a new batch of United States enlisted and officer muster rolls and rosters 1916 to 1939 Part R, and every batch is coming out blurred. It hurts my eyes to try and index them. Can you take them off and redo them?

@cutlerjamesrichard1 -- yes Muster Rolls Part R are blurry and difficult to read. If you are not comfortable, just return the batch for another indexer to try also am tagging @Dellory Matthews to see who can help you make changes to your personal info and remove it from this discussion 😎

@PiperTWilson --- Thanks - I wish we had a list of moderators so my tired old brain didn't have to tag from memory --- maybe there is a list and I don't know where to look? 😎

I know FS wishes us not to tag individual Moderators because they work as a team, and some may not be on duty on any given day. So, please give us the generic tag @Moderators and/or @Moderator (and without the caps) that can alert the team and someone on duty for the forum whence the tag originated. Thanks.

I pulled up the enlisted officers muster rolls and rosters. They are all blurry. Please fix it.

Part R cannot be fixed. It is scanned in and cannot be re-scanned. The first screen of a new batch gives you instructions on what to do for blurry/damaged records.
