Gasper Rowland {G749-KCJ} having trouble pieceing together his connection to the family
Gasper Rowland {G749-KCJ} born possibly 1773 in Rowan North Carolina has a sister Francis {LCDS-3XB}. Parents: Jacob Rowland {LR7R-C52} and Mary Keithley {L4JQ-L14}
Gasper’s father dies 3 November 1779. Probate not settled until 11 February 1786. Will states 2 orphaned children Gasper and Frina Roland. Frina possible nickname for Frances. Mary Keithley Rowland marries Jonas Hon {LZV2-RSP} or Haon 1779. According to Osborne-Origins.org Gasper Rowland {L84K-B6Z} Gasper’s grandfather becomes their guardian on August 2, 1785.
Gasper {G649-KCJ} marries Elizabeth Keithley {LHKS-732} . Elizabeth first married to Daniel Joseph Rowland {LZ2D-7R5} 18 December 1798 in Bourbon Kentucky . They have one child Jacob Daniel Rowland {LW9M-RPV}. Born 1801 Green Kentucky.
And now for the hard part:
Casper lost a leg in a mining accident in Warren County, KY. His brother Joseph & he owned the mine, and Joseph was killed in that accident. Casper later marries his brother's widow.
this tidbit says that Gasper had a brother Joseph and Elizabeth was his wife. So is Joseph and Daniel the same person?
Joseph or Daniel not mentioned in the will.
There is another problem:
Gasper Rowland {MTL1-KV5} who is identical except that his birthdate is 1777 and his parents are Jesse Rowland {G6SQ-R1K} and Sarah Simpson {KNNN-M3F}.
My relations come from Evaline Tabitha Rowland {LC8M-7VH} whose parents were William K. Rowland {KCST-GXV} and Perlina Sparling {LYP3-YZ6} to Gasper?.
Do you think I have enough evidence to prove Gasper G749-KCJ is my ancestor and Jacob is his father?
what about Gasper{ MTL1-KV5} is he a duplication? Is Daniel Joseph Rowland Gasper’s brother?
