How to correct a standardized place name that has been incorrectly attributed?
The original record only records 'Clydebank"
this has been incorrectly standardized to show as the Clydebank, Victoria, Australia.
However, this record refers to someone who was born in Scotland and the standardized place name should read 'Clydebank, Dunbartonshire, Scotland'
Is there a way to correct this?
Many thanks

@DeHu Sorry to be slow responding--I've been away for a few weeks. We see the error in the search results but not on the record details page. We will get this to the engineers for correction. We cannot predict how long it will take for a fix to be in place. While we wait, you can still use the record as a source for ancestors. Since a link to the record details page in the tree sources will bring up that page, the error in search results won't be a factor. Still confusing when searching, of course, so we do need to get it fixed. Thank you for reporting the problem.

thank you for providing the information link.
It says when the Event Place is inaccurate, please report it to the engineers. I can't seem to find a report link anywhere. Can you point me in the right direction?
Many thanks

It says please report it with the details of the record set. I've done that by tagging the mod who has taken the lead on this issue and adding the URL.
