Reporting a record that is incorrectly indexed which cannot be edited by me
The NY census record for Robert Kerns G64B-D4B indexed as "1915 census" is actually the 1905 census record. There is no option to edit the record date. I attached the "1915 census" record to Kerns with a note that it is actually the 1905 census. There is also a record for Kerns correctly indexed as "1905 census" - it contains the same data as the so-called "1915" census.

The images for the 1905 and 1915 NYS censuses are not on FamilySearch. The images are on Ancestry, and the indexes were provided by Ancestry. See the description here: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1937454
Checking that specific ED, in Seneca County, the 1905 census is incorrectly linked on Ancestry. The images are of the 1905, but the index is labeled 1915.
AFAIK, no edit option is, so far, available on FamilySearch when the image is not housed on FS. I believe the error would need to be reported to Ancestry.
Since Robert and wife, Ida, Kerns were enumerated in NYS in 1905, and in Pennsylvania in 1910 and 1920, they probably were not living in Seneca County, NY, in 1915.
