When asking for the names of the spouse, do I put in ones that are deceased or no?

Sometimes the batch asks for the name of the spouse and it says that they are deceased. Should I still put in the name of them or leave it blank? Thanks!

Our role as indexers is to accurately transcribe the original record into data format. A person's spouse is still their spouse whether living or dead, unless they have re-married, in which case you only index the current spouse. Hope this helps.
