Kia Ora,
Please check and advise what to do as I have been doing Johannesburg Cemetary Records and the names
and information of the decease has been left out on several of the batches I have brought up. Many thanks.
I have left the batch number of the last one I came across which is (M32R-PZN). With thanks,
Sister Cook
Hamilton, New Zealand.

Hi'
If you are reviewing you have the option of making the corrections or returning the batch for reindexing.
I was unable to open the batch in question. Have you submitted it or returned it? If so we will be unable to open the batch to check the problem.

Sister Cook,
REPLACING my earlier comment.
Some of the records span two facing pages. The previous page would have the data that should be indexed except for possibly the cemetery name which might be at the top of the second/right-hand page.
Under Step 1: Images, select No, No Extractable Data. for pages like this without names. The indexer who gets the first/left-hand page will input the data. They will might need to reference the second/facing page to get the Cemetery name.

Thanks for our comments. The batch I am working on is Ship Arrivals not death. The person who indexed it did not put the arrival dates on several but a dash. Am I to assume that these dashes are indicating the information is the same as the previous person until a change of date appears? Thanks all.

Not sure which project you are working on. Please retry sharing an individual batch.
Steps
1. Just above the toolbar, click Help.
2. On the drop-down menu, click Share Batch.
3. The Share Batch window opens, giving you two options:
- Copy the batch link, and paste it in the "Leave a Comment" section so the helper can go directly to the batch.
- Share the batch code so the helper can enter it in the web indexing tool and open the batch.

Hi @Raina Cook - I think that the dashes on that project are a form of repetition, or a ditto mark. I'm going to tag @Ontymay and @PatrickCox6 to verify this. These are the Australia projects which have been restricted to their citizens. So, only people living in the country and New Zealand are able to view the shared batches. Without seeing this, I would say that if the indexer put a dash, you will need to delete those and change the the entries to the proper dates or enter blanks if they put them in the wrong date fields.
You might already have found this, but, the field helps which are accessed by clicking on the question marks will provide more instructions on what to enter for each field.
