I can't find the answer
I have already checked out the questions regarding muster rolls and didn't find the answer to this question, nor did I see it in the project instructions. So, can someone tell me....I was going to do Batch M32F-ZG6. I was looking for an appropriate date on the other related documents, for the military date, year or enlistment date, etc. While perusing these documents, I noticed all the documents' names are similar, with the exception of a very few. Can someone help me with this? I didn't think I should do each document, but I need some direction. Thank you very much. You folks are very smart and helpful!!!😀

You just need to index your batch. The reference documents will be indexed in their own batch.

Hi Audrey Lea. Thank you for sharing your batch code. As Ksalers said, we don't worry about indexing any of the names except the ones on the images in our own batches. But, you can add the date from the cover of the muster roll on Reference Image -1. "the last day of January 1919" I I see you are reviewing so you probably know how to quickly correct each of the date fields using the copy text forward tool. If not, it is the 6th icon from the right.

Yes, I do know how to use the copy text forward. Thank you for taking the time to help. So the date on Reference Image-1 is the one I should use?! Exactly for what I was looking. I was a little distracted seeing "duplicates," if you will, in the reference images, while looking for a date.
Got it. Be assured I only do the batches for which I am currently working. The others are for reference only, as indicated in the notes on the pages. 😉
Thank you for helping me.
