A divorce event is a usually a major event in one’s life and should be included in the timeline. After a divorce of a person from a spouse the death of that ex-spouse should not be in that person’s timeline. My mother’s timeline shows the death of her ex-husband which she had lost contact with and she never knew about it. It was a non-event in her life but it’s in her timeline.
