Source Linker Does NOT save the Standardized Birth Location
This is a bug. During Source Linking, in particular Census Records, and a new person needs to be created using the 'Add To Family Tree' dialog, the Birthplace does not get saved as a Standardized Place even after making sure the Birthplace has been standardized. Afterwards when viewing the created person, we are told that the Birthplace is not Standardized. This is extremely frustrating! Sometimes this happens when source linking Marriages, also. ID GDYV-DRC is an example.

This issue has been reported previously, but I have not encountered it lately and thought it might have been resolved. Perhaps a moderator could pass this to an engineering team for investigation.

This bug still lives.

This bug is back. It was gone for a while but now it is back and it especially affects marriage records.

It's also affecting when residence entries are generated from linking census reports. I Just did a bunch of work on people form Washington county, Virginia. Even when it was standardized correctly in the linking dialog, it still ended up broken in the record. This is bad.

Perhaps a moderator would kindly either escalate this problem (yet again) to the engineers, or confirm the issue remains unresolved - but (hopefully) still being worked on.

As of today, this has been fixed when creating someone during Census linking and using 'Add To Family Tree' dialog.

The new source editor does not save the date or standardized locations for a few weeks now.
