Does anyone know when the next US Military muster rolls(1916-1933, Part O is done) will be available for indexing/reviewing?

Information about upcoming collections is not made available prior to publication due to various factors that can affect the publication time line, such as agreements with genealogical societies about the indexing of their records, final assembly considerations, space on the servers, geographic considerations, and so forth. We hope this article answers your question.

Sorry my answer is so late. Thank you very much. Saw they were available and started working on them.

We can only do the best we can. We do appreciate your work on these difficult records but please do send them back if you cannot read them.

Part R just came out and every batch I get is so blurry, it is unreadable. Anybody else having this problem?

Yes, Part R is blurry - using the enlarging and contrast tools helps a lot - you need to play with these tools a little to get some half-decent results -- but I think later images will improve 😎

Same problem here. Cannot read. Too blurry.

Used the tools as well. For me, I was not comfortable that the data was clear enough to accurately review or index at this time. Also bothers my eyes to try to focus on an entire document that is blurred. Will check in soon to see the answers or help to our comments.

Please what names you can see. Changing contrast and size of the print may help somewhat, but we know these are difficult. There is no option to refilm the project. Thank you for your willingness to do the best you can with this project.

For ME, it is not readable, only guessable. Another example: Batch M3LD-HHK. Image # 106823792-01106. I have already sent back several images I just can't read. 😯

What happens to the ones we send back? Do they go back out again only to have yet another indexer spend hours coming to the same conclusion and having to guess again? I'm sure we'll hear from researchers after publication. 😎

    Thanks for posting.

In case you download an indexing or review batch and find that you are unable to finish, you can return the batch. The system saves your work and assigns what remains to another indexer.
