I think it is not a name but an accounting term and reads A C Scriss (double-s i.e., long s and short s). I think it means Accounts Collectible Scriss, and I don't know what "Scriss" means or abbreviates. You'll see it expanded a bit elsewhere. For example, look at the snip below from Reference image -1.
Also, that name is Jose DeSouza Soares, not Dose D Soare. I'm not sure I can make out an apostrophe just past the O in OMara. So I'd leave James OMara as you've written it.

Thank you so much. I didn't think it was a name either. I did know about the long s/short s, but its always helpful to review. Also appreciate comments on the two name example. The page accidently "sent" before I was finished typing, so thanks for reading between the lines. SM
