Should I translate the country name into English

@Ken_Cluff, you are wondering if you should translate and enter the country's name in English. You would not translate. We always type what we see in the language that we see on the document. Your instructions say to correct spellings, but the correct spelling would be in the language of the document.
However, when you index, you can change the language of the Indexing user interface, field names, field helps, and project instructions. This would be for your convenience in understanding words in the documents and the fields to enter the words.
I hope that this has answered your question. The above articles give more information, and although not stating specifically, indicate you would not translate document information into the fields.
Thank you for doing these projects!

Since the original record/Project language appears to be Afrikaans - I believe you leave it in the original language. Maybe wait for an official response from a FamilySearch representative.
