State misspelled

I tried to make a simple spelling correction on the family tree but was unable to save the correction. It appears that the website itself is having many malfunctions for the past few days. Can someone explain what is going on. Thank you.

Correcting errors can depend on where you are working. Some things do not allow corrections, while others do.

What are you working with? Where in FamilySearch are you working? Please provide an ID number, and an explanation, so we can investigate your issue and possibly help you with the editing.
