Badly indexed document question

I have been looking at a census document that has been very badly indexed, and published on the site. We have a Facebook group for our county, and some members have agreed to help me correct it, since we are familiar with the names and families. But not all of the fields are editable. For example, rather than District One, the index says District Clue, and this cannot be changed. Also, some families are listed as the wrong race, because the census taker got carried away with his ditto marks. This also cannot be changed through the web site.

For some reason, this census also doesn't have the option to change all surnames if you change the head surname. So we've got a big project ahead of us to fix everything!

How can we correct fields that are not available under the "Edit" button?

@Stacey Cracker4Life You are correct that the number of fields you can edit in an indexed record are currently limited. Work is underway to widen the options so that you can edit additional fields. We have not been given an expected timeframe for additional fields to be editable.
