Child Account
I am trying to help my 12 year old daughter create an account. When I sign up as a member it asks for a record number. When I enter her record number (as shown in membership info in Tools) it says there is already an account connected to it. But I haven’t created an account with that membership number. I still try to recover it using the option to use the membership number but then it tells me it there is no account that uses that number. Can anyone help?

Just in passing ...
Because, your Daughter, is a 'Child of Record', a 'FamilySearch' Account, would have been AUTOMATICALLY "Created" for her.
In such cases, try going, to 'FamilySearch', through the "Church" (Website) Account, of your Wife; as, the Children's Accounts; were, usually linked/connected to their Mother's Account.
IF, that does not work; THEN, 'FamilySearch' "Support", will most likely, be "Required", to help/assist.
[ Or, perhaps, maybe, the "Global Service Centre", of the Church ... ]
